Scarlet pimpernel

Last night I went to see the scarlet pimpernel! My best friend Kylan was in it, so a bunch of my friends went with me and it was so much fun!!

               Today I helped my sister Quin answer her boyfriend for prom...this is what we came up with...

This is Melvin

 The fish is a Black moor fish and his name was Melvin Philip Johnson...I really don't know how we came up with that name but that is how we answered him. It was a little cheesy but i bet he will be surprised to find a fish on his porch :)

Being grateful for the church

    

At Young Women tonight we had a really amazing guest speaker, he told us his conversion story and all about his life as a Mormon. It was really Awesome and the spirit was so strong. Im so grateful to have such a great ward that I can share these experiences with. This weekend I am blessed to be able to attend Youth Conference with my ward. We got assigned a one week mission calls and Mine is to Pennsylvania. I am so excited to get to know my  mission companion for the week and to share some great activities with my Ward.

Some deep thinking lately...

So tonight For young women we were going to make cupcakes...Not that I dont love making cupcakes or anything, but isn't going to young women supposed to teach you something gospel related? After thinking about this for a while, my dad called my young women leader and told her that I would be working on my personal progress with him, instead of making cupcakes. Looking back on Oakcrest earlier this summer: If we could have half of the experience that I had each night at Oakcrest, at young women the girls in our ward's testimonies would be so strong. I Wish that i could have another experience like i did at Oakcrest again soon, it helped my testimony grow so much, and helped me realize that I can do more with my Wednesday nights than making cupcakes. So Thanks to everyone that helped Oakcrest be so amazing for me. And i hope that i can help our activities be more gospel related.
