| Right before the lunch stop, I was dead tired. |
I rode 70 miles with my friend Hailey and my Mom.
The ride was up in Logan and there was a bunch of food stops on the way along with a lunch stop around 57 miles out. This years theme was Bollywood and they had a bunch of cool food, decorations, dancers, music, etc.
We drove up in our motor home and stayed in the rv park next to the starting line. It took us about 3 or 4 hours total including all of the stops and lunch. Keeping us going we had Gu, shotblox, gatorade, and lots and lots of fruit and peanut butter Oreos. About half way through the ride I got really tired and my back was hurting and I was ready to be done. We were going through a neighborhood at the time and this little girl came out of her house and ran for a minute with me cheering me on, and it kept me going thinking about the little girl. I also used my moms ipod strapped to my arm keeping me going. The beat of the music I tried to match with the speed i was pedaling. About 30 miles to the end I got my second wind and just in time. There was a series of hills that i had to go and I started going mega fast. I went up one of the hills at about 15 mph and going down at somewhere around 45 mph. I was on a road bike so i was really scared I would hit a rock and go flying but I didnt slow down and just kept riding. All in all it was a lot of fun.Especially because i got to shower after the ride thanks riding up in the motor home. The next day, which I was supposed to be really sore, I felt great because my mom had been giving us after legs the whole way. It keeps you from getting stiff and sore after a big ride. They were fantastic. Im pretty sure im going to ride it again next year with my mom and i got a super awesome jersey from this year I can wear. I can't wait for next year!

Taking a break/being a little kid again
The other day I was looking at my friends blog and I found this quote:
My life has been super crazy these past couple of months so I decided that I would go back to being a kid for a day and take a break from this stressful life for a bit.
I started off my coloring a bunch of Disney princess that I printed off.
Then I went on a bike ride (for training) And When I got back I ate pizza and watched Tangled with my Best Friend. It was a pretty great day. I think that everyone needs to take a break like this every once in a while. Life can get pretty stressful, and it's nice to take a break from it :)
Acts of Kindness Day
For English we had to come up with 3 acts of kindness that we don't normally see everyday and do them by the next day. At first it seemed like kind of short notice, but I got with my group and we came up with our ideas:
1) Putting on a piano concert at the Went worth (Old folks home)

2) Making and delivering cookies to someone we didn't know

3) Putting quotes on people car windows :)

The Concert was by far my favorite!! I love talking to older people because they have some of the coolest stories ever! One of the ladies sitting in the front by the piano, after i finished, kept thanking me for playing for her. It made me happy knowing I had been able to make that lady happy with my piano song. The other two activities we did didn't really affect me in the same way as the concert did. I'm really glad that i got the chance to do that yesterday, and I'm planning on going back there soon :)
